On Monday May 25, 2009, the members of the Baltic Fire Dept. took part in the towns annual Memorial Day parade. A big thank you goes out to the other orgaizations that participated in the parade.

Baltic responds to MVA 05/25/09

Vehicle ended up over the ribbon rail and down by the water...

On Monday May 25, 2009, at approx. 01:40, the Baltic Fire Dept. was sent to near the Sprague Norwich town line for a mva with the occupant out of the vehicle and in the water. Upon arrival of Baltic units, they found the Occum Fire dept. already on scene trying to remove the patient from the water. Do to the patients location, a stokes basket was used to remove the patient up the embankment to the street. Patient was loaded into Baltic R-524 and transported ALS to Backus Hospital. Baltic assist with traffic 05/24/09

Today the Baltic Fire Dept. assisted with traffic control for the annual Memorial Run (Pappy's Run). There were three different crews controling three different intersections for approx. 30 minutes while the motorcycles paraded by.

Baltic Cover Assignment 05/13/09

At about 15:25 hours one ET was requested to cover Occum FD while the Occum FD was at a structure fire in Lisbon on Sullivan Road. Baltic's ET was clear from Occum around 17:00 hours.

Baltic Car Fire 05/07/09

At about 00:30 hrs on 05/07/09, Station 24 was dispatched for a reported car fire in the area of #21 Noahs Way. Car 24 transmitted a fully involved car fire upon arrival. Upon arrival of ET-224 one line was put into operation. The cause is still under investigation. Thanks Tim for the pics.
