ET-224's Crew...Deputy Chief Girard, FF's Davis, Deveccelly, and Edwards...
Baltic FF's Davis and Deveccelly..... At approx. 22:52 hours, an engine and ladder were requested from Baltic to 50 Hunters Ave. in Taftville for a working structure fire. The Taftville, Occum, Yantic, East Great Plains, and the City of Norwich Fire Departments had already been on scene fighting the fire for about an hour. ET-224 was already on a cover assignment for the Occum Fire Department when the request came. ET-224 responded from Occum's Station with Truck 124 responding from Station 24. Upon arrival of ET-224, they were put to work in helping with overhaul operations. Truck 124 was requested by command to cover Taftville's Station with Jewett City's ET-156 upon arrival. All Baltic units were back in service at Station 24 approx. 03:00 hours on 06/05/09.
